Team West Coast Triathlon Society Annual Scholarship

This scholarship recognizes high-school graduates who balance academics and athletics as triathletes, duathletes, aqua-bikers, swimmers, cyclists, or runners, who commit to personal growth and involvement in the sport community, and who have been accepted to a post-secondary educational institution. The TWC Selection Committee will award a financial scholarship of $1,000.00. TWC maintains and awards the funds. 

BC Tech Scholarship

Investing in the future of tech talent is one of the keys to success for the BC’s economy. BC Tech’s industry-funded Scholarship Program provides grants to students with a proven passion for technology, a desire to leave a mark in the tech sector and pursuing a post-secondary technology-related program.  Three scholarships of $2500 are offered to graduating students.

Lisa Huus Bursary

Lisa Pauline Huus was a pioneer for people with disabilities seeking access to mainstream education in British Columbia. She was the first student with a significant disability (Muscular Dystrophy) to attend the BC public school system, in Victoria, British Columbia, and graduated from Claremont Senior Secondary School in 1985. She continued to be a trailblazer for other students with disabilities and went on to study at the University of Victoria. She was a third-year sociology student when she passed away.

About the Bursary

Rocky Point Bird Observatory Award

This award is available to School Districts 61, 62 & 63 students.

One Scholarship of $1000 is available.

Successful applicants will be selected by the Rocky Point Bird Observatory Awards Committee. 

Requirements: Graduating, full time high school students of School Districts 61, 62 & 63 who intend to pursue a career that supports bird and/or environmental conservation.
