All Sooke Arts & Crafts Bursary

Two bursaries of $250 are offered by the All Sooke Arts & Crafts Association. 

This bursary is not academic-based.  It is to encourage students in their creative endeavours, and ideally in fields not usually recognized as such e.g. woodwork, metal work, automotive, culinary skills, fibre arts (sewing , knitting, weaving), horticulture, as well as the more recognized forms of art like painting, photography, writing, digital art.

Darryl Snider Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship is in honour of Darryl Snider.  Darryl was a hard working father of 3 who unfortunately passed away at the age of 50.  He was a responsible and respectful guy who excelled at sports and worked well with others.  Darryl started work on the assembly line at the Honda Canada plant when it opened.  Through hard work and continuing education, he worked his way up the ranks to become the Quality Control Manager for Honda Canada.  

Campus VFX High School Scholarship

This scholarship is designed to support a passionate high school student who dreams of turning their creativity into a career in visual effects and is committed to developing their skills toward a professional career.

Campus VFX will award up to two scholarships per high school to eligible candidates.

They are looking for someone with heart, dedication, and genuine curiosity, not just perfect grades. 

$4000 applied toward tuition for a full-time 12-month program.

Glenn Smith Career Development Grant

This scholarship is in honour of Glenn Smith, and is intended for a student who has displayed some of the following qualities:
- improvement in areas such as marks, attitude, effort, attendance, etc.
- potential for success in post-secondary (college, university, tech school, trades foundation program, etc.)
- may have overcome challenges/obstacles during high school
- financial need may be a consideration

Carol Smith Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship is in memory of Carol Smith, and is intended for a student who has displayed some of the following qualities:
- improvement in areas such as marks, attitude, effort, attendance, etc.
- potential for success in post-secondary (college, university, tech school, trades foundation program, etc.)
- may have overcome challenges/obstacles during high school
- financial need may be a consideration
